Continuous geotechnical monitoring

Every slope moves.
The question is how much and how fast.

GeoSmart brings the prisms, piezometers, inclinometers and GNSS from every sector into one system: it computes displacement and velocity, evaluates thresholds and raises the alarm before the shift changes. Installed on your own server, with no internet required.

Is anything moving, how fast, and does someone need to act tonight?

It is the only question that matters at three in the morning. The same reading has to serve three different people, and each one needs it differently.

On-shift monitor

Switches groups and date ranges all day long. Needs to see the state of every point at a glance and reach the suspicious series without fighting the interface.

Geotechnical lead

Interprets, correlates against rainfall, blasts and maintenance, and writes the stability memo. Needs the screen to become the deliverable without redoing the work.

Mine management

Wants one screen that says whether the pit is fine, and a report that arrives on its own, every day, at the same hour.

What it monitors

Hundreds of instrumented points, across 5 to 15 groups, on one or more sites. Every instrument family takes the same path: reading, calculation, threshold, alarm.

Prisms

Transverse and height displacement, and drift from the null measurement, point by point.

Total stations

Reading control, activity and availability for every station on site.

VW piezometers

Vibrating wire: pore pressure with barometric and temperature correction.

CG piezometers

Casagrande, loaded from a template with series validation.

GW piezometers

Water table and how it evolves against rainfall and pit advance.

Inclinometers

Displacement profile with depth, reading by reading.

Extensometers

Crack opening and separation between surface anchors.

GNSS rover

Continuous coordinates where a prism cannot reach or line of sight is lost.

Load cells

Tension in bolts and anchors, against the design threshold.

Tiltmeters

Tilt on structures and slopes, laser variant included.

Vibrometers

Peak particle velocity per blast, timestamped alongside the series.

Flow and settlement

Drainage flow and platform settlement, on the same timeline.

From reading to decision

Three steps, in this order. Nothing management sees is ever computed twice.

01

Instrument and integrate

Leica GeoMoS out of the box, an Excel template per sensor family, manual entry and a keyed API. Every point is bound to its site, its group and its threshold.

02

Analyse

Displacement, velocity, acceleration and angles; reading correction and disqualification; correlation against rainfall, blasts and maintenance on one shared time axis.

03

Act

A crossed threshold raises the alarm and notifies the contact list. The daily, shift and auditor reports come out of that same data, with their action plan and conclusion.

The instrument, not the mockup

This is the application: site band, module rail, points panel and the working canvas. Dense on purpose, because whoever uses it lives in it for eight hours.

Points panel, displacement chart and per-sector state.

The whole system

Six modules sharing the same points, the same thresholds and the same timeline.

Sensors and charts

Displacement and its long-term average, velocity, acceleration, angles, corrections, scatter and stereograms.

2D and 3D maps

Site plan with your own layers, a three-dimensional pit view and the real location of every instrument.

Thresholds and alarms

A threshold per point or per group, with its action plan, causality and the contact list to notify.

Reports

Daily, by section, by shift and for audit. Scheduled, carrying the same figures you saw on screen.

Field inspections

A mobile app with checklists, photos and shifts, syncing to the same system once back in coverage.

System health

Its own panel watching the services, the database and the calculation engine, restarting them without opening a console.

WIN-SVC · 4 · USB · SHA-256

It runs on your server, not ours

Built for a mine that cannot depend on a satellite link to know whether its slope is moving.

Windows services

Four services — API, application, calculation engine and health panel — plus the database, installed and registered by a Spanish-language wizard.

No internet

The install travels on a USB stick, every component hash-verified. No external runtime dependency: no CDN, no cloud.

Per-site licence

Signed and bound to the machine. It sets validity, maximum version and which modules are enabled for that customer.

Integration

Leica GeoMoS out of the box, an Excel template per sensor family, and a keyed API to take corrected readings into your own systems.
